Transitional Farmhouse Kitchen

This transitional farmhouse kitchen feels both familiar and fresh with blended elements that create the perfect gathering place for this recently constructed residence in the Village of Milford that was finished in 2019. White perimeter Wood-mode cabinets with matching interiors and lighting provide the perfect contrast against Cambria matte black quartz countertops. Stacked crown molding accentuates the ceiling in the hub of the home that boasts a custom vent hood and classic subway tile laid in a herringbone pattern.

A kitchen island with furniture flair is topped with a thick quartz counter, while oversized turned legs add a deluxe touch below. The Sub-Zero fridge with custom appliance panels features “X” mullion details that conceal appliances and add another design detail to the table. From wood floors to the metal fixtures, this high-traffic area of the home nurtures all who enter. Off the kitchen, a butler’s pantry keeps the visual momentum going with an antiqued glass backsplash and bourbon mesh doors.
