Luxury Equestrian Arena

This picturesque equestrian estate is located in the middle of the Milford MI countryside. Three separate buildings were constructed along with miles of fence to partition pastures and paddocks and the custom new home. The smaller hay barn was built first, followed by the main barn and arena, then finally, a circular exercise building. We worked closely with the homeowner to design every detail and create the necessary function and one-of-a-kind style that she desired. The main barn contains stalls for 10 horses, a full size riding arena, grooming area, wash stall, observation room, laundry and tack storage, and a loft apartment for a live-in trainer that oversees both the stall area and riding arena. Every inch was intentionally designed with the purpose of a working ranch, and a luxury lifestyle in mind. The custom details are too numerous to mention, but the quality and creativity were an integral part of the overall design. Some exterior details to note are the three large dormers and three vented cupolas, stone accents and custom entrance doors with etched glass. Inside the riding arena, operating glass garage doors provide light and fresh air as needed, industrial fans, specialty lighting and radiant heat keep the space comfortable. The curved wooden riding wall and arena mirrors were purchased from Germany, and installed by the manufacturer. The observation room has custom lockers for tack storage and saddle racks along with a kitchenette to create a home away from home lounge. The entire building is equipped with state of the art technology and wifi-enabled conveniences and security.
